Dear Parent,

Over 60 percent of families now have email and Internet access from their homes. And even more have access from their work places. Pine City Schools will soon be able to take advantage of this low-cost and reliable communications avenue to alert our families electronically of low balances in the family meal accounts. Additionally, you will be able to access your current account information online—anytime.

The Wordware Web-Email module will automatically send emails to families with low balances that have submitted their email addresses to the Food Service Department by letter or by email.

Specifics on the Web-Email are as follows:

• Printed Letter Statements will be replaced with emails, for families that have supplied their email address and release form.
• Emails are processed and sent out at 6:00 P.M. each evening.
• You can reply to an email statement. It will go directly to the district’s email address.
• This is a secure site; only specific district personnel with the correct user-ID and two passwords may access this information.
• Families must know their family ID and PIN to access family account information. Your family ID appears on the printed statements. You can request a specific PIN or it will default automatically to the last four digits of your phone number.

If you would like to access your family lunch account at any time, go on to

the Internet to https://family.wordwareinc.com. Near the top on the screen in blue, click on “Family Account Log-in.” Choose the state code and submit. Then choose the school district, Family ID, and Family PIN (last four digits of your phone number or send one with your email address). The screen should show you your last payment and balance, and how many meals your children have eaten.

The enclosed release form can be sent to school with your child, to deliver to the payment box in the Food Service Department, or mailed back to Pine City Schools at 1400 South Main Street, Pine City, MN 55063, attention Darlene Smetana.
