Simon Bolivar was born in Caracas, Venezuela on July 24, 1783 . His parents had a beatiful house in the city. Simon was the youngest out of the 4 children. When Simon was 3 his father died. 6 years later his mother died. Simon married Ter-esade. Simon's wife had yellow fever and she died. Simon had a unhappy life. Simon traveled to Spain ,Fance. Italy , England and the United States. Simon became a leader in the fight in Spain .
Simon formed a new army in August 1813. Simon wrote his thoughts about the history and the future. Simon died of tuberculosis in Santa Marta Colombia on December 17. The army defeated Span's forces at the battile of Boyaca on August 7. He was elected president of Gran colombia at the C 'ucuta Congress.
