Christopher Columbus was born in 1451 Genoa,Italy.His parents were Susanna and Domenico.Christopher liked to take short trips on the sea when he was young.

In 1476 when he was 25, Christopher was sailing with a lot of ships to England.One day when Christopher was sailing on the sea, when the skys were clear, some french pirates attacked and Christopher's ship blew up!Christopher was hurt and was floating on some wood then made his way to the nearest land.He then lived with his brother,bartholomew.They ran a shop were they bolth sold maps.In Lisbon,Christopher married Donna Moñ iz de perestrello,the daughter of an inportant family.The people talked about sailing to the east where they could find jewels and spices. Christopher died in Valladolid,spain in May 20,1506.

Christopher Columbus had been a great sailor,he was able to find his way across unknown waters and Back again.He had a gift.

Christopher Colombus had freckles. He was born in 1451. His mom was Susanna. His fathers name was Domenico Colombo. His father died when he was 10.

He sailed on 17 ships when he was 20. His mother and father both died when he was 10. He sailed in 1460.He likes it out on the sea. He sailed 3 ships on his 1st voyage.

Colombia was named after Columbos. He sailed the ocean in 1492. He named the Indies Indians.

When Christopher and others looked out over the water there was no end to it.Christopher was very tall.He worked in his fathers shop, but he dreamed of going to sea. When he was older he became a sailor.

He became a great sailor,he proved the earth was round. He got married to Dona Felipa Moniz de Perestrello the daughter of an important family. In 1476, when he was twenty- five Christopher was sailing on one of a group of ships,heading for England.French pirates attacked, and the ship on which he sailing sank,Christopher was injured and thrown into the sea. He grabbed onto some floating wood and made it to shore in Lagos, Portugal. He stayed there with his brother. Bartholomew lived in Lagos, Portugal. They sold maps and books for sailors.Christopher Columbus and most other people knew the earth was round, but they didn't know how big it was. They traveled east to go to the Indies. On August 3,1492 the voyage began. Nine days later , explorers reached the nearby Canary Islands.After they reached the Canary Islands and back the voyagers that stayed behind were not nice to the Indians so most of the voyagers were dead.Christopher Columbus died in Vallidolid,Spain on May 20, 1506.He had been a great sailor, able to find his way across unknown waters and back home again.

He was a great sailor. He was an easy person to remember because, he helped find a new world.

Christoher Columbus was born 1451 in Itlay by the sea. He wanted to go over sea . He took short trips when he was young.

He wanted some gold. He wanted some fur he saled with 90 men. Some men got scared.

He brought Indians back. He was famous because he went over sea again and again. The last time he went with 16 ships.
