Nancy Carlson was a visitor to Pine City Elementary on Feb. 2nd. She talked to the students about being an author and the illustrator of books such as: "I Like Me", "Snowden", and "Look Out Kindergarten, Here I Come". She also showed the students how to draw her characters of Harriet, Loudmouth George, and Henry. A group of 31 students stayed after school to learn more about drawing. She had them draw their own characters and showed them how to do a story board. The students and staff really enjoyed her visit and thanked her for coming by making posters.
