Adult Basic Education (ABE)
Adult Basic Education provides educational opportunities for adults to gain or strengthen basic skills. Classes are open between 3:30 and 6:30 PM on Wednesdays or 8:30 – 1:00 on Fridays – call ahead for summer hours.

- performs substantially below grade/performance level
- is at least on year behind in completing course work or obtaining credits for graduation
- pregnant or parenting
- has been assessed as chemically dependent
- has been physically or sexually abused
- has experienced mental health problems
- has been homeless sometime during the last six months
- has limited English proficiency or speak English as a second language
- has been referred by a school district for enrollment in an eligible nontraditional program
- has been excluded or expelled
